Críticos, jornalistas, programadores de festivais e curadores já escolheram os melhores filmes de 2018

Em 2017, “Call Me By Your Name”, de Luca Guadagnino, foi o grande vencedor. Este ano, os Gotham Independent Film Awards, distinção entregue por críticos, jornalistas, programadores de festivais e curadores de filmes escolheram “The Rider”, realizado e escrito pela cineasta Chloé Zhao. Para já, não há data de estreia do filme nas salas de cinema portuguesas.

No que toca ao argumento Paul Schrader levou o prémio para casa com o seu novo filme “First Reformed”. Em 2017, Jordan Peele arrecadou o mesmo prémio com “Get Out”. Ethan Hawke, em “First Reformed”, e Toni Collette, em “Hereditary”, foram os melhores actores deste ano nos Gotham Awards.
